Do You Have To Keep Your Insurance For A Year Is That A Federal Law
can you not canel yor policy in your thirty day grace period ? is there a federal law saying you have ti keep it for a year?

Was the policy written on a pre-tax or after-tax basis?
If after-tax, you can cancel it anytime of the year. With Aflac, typically just the short-term disability and life insurance policies are written on an after-tax basis.
If pre-tax (this is only done if your coverage is via payroll deduction), then you can still cancel anytime during the plan year, but be sure to obtain an authorizaton letter from the human resources department to accompany your cancellation request.
