Indesign Cs5 Shows Different Dimensions Than Actual Image File?

Have a PhotoShop image that is 8.6267 in. high. I import it into an InDesign CS5 document and the measurements palette shows image as being 8.7465 in. high. Driving me nuts. Have re-placed image, fit frame to content, etc.

I'm very familiar with PhotoShop, but not very familiar with InDesign, however, I could see where a DPI change may have an impact. Still, you would expect the image sizes to be identical... especially between 2 Adobe products!

Sorry I couldn't provide an exact answer, but hopefully the link above proves useful.

I always thought like Illustrator, you should be able to put a box(frame) around it to make it fit the size you want.

I don't use that software so I could be wrong, but most work closely the same on a Mac.
