How Do I Get A Replacement Docking/charging Connector For My Acer W510 Tablet?
Water got into the docking connector while the tablet was charging and shorted some of the pins on the connector in the tablet. Keyboard is ok and tablet works ok on its own but cannot recharge as neither charger or keyboard will connect. You can see the plastic blade in the connector has melted at one end and the metal connectors distorted. Have opened up and connector is on a ribbon connecting to the motherboard. So I need a new ribbon and connector I think but cannot find one anywhere or even the part number. Supplier cannot fix either.
