Monitor Screen Wont Turn On
HI THERE, I HAVE A ACER MONITOR. MODEL NUMBER S202HL, VERSION S202HL BD, MFG DATE DECEMBER 2010. All I did was take out the DVI-D cord to plug into my other screen to have two screens working as i work at home for my job. When i did so, my computer turned off for some reason and now wont turn on. I checked all cords possible to make sure they are plugged in properly, I unplugged the power cord to my monitor for a bit and plugged back in, (nothing happened) I also held the power button for 30seconds and still nothing happened. I have asked friends that know a lot about computers and they say to check the fuse. Well, this monitor screen doesn't have these options to take apart and check. What is the reason for it to not turn on?

There are many reasons for this problem. The first comes to my mind is the lost connection of Power cables and that can be soldered easily. You can get it rectified in locals.
Have a look at the monitors case, at the power cable and at the connections.
See if something seems damaged.
See if you can change the power cable of the monitor with the power cable of the PC unit.
If everything seems ok you just have to take the monitor to a specialized service.
Please note : This model comes with 3 years warranty, Dont take any self decision to rectify it else you will loose warranty. Check acer service stations in locals.
