Expanding Memory
i , I bought an Acer Aspire V5 with 16gb ram. I did the intial first boot, but after that, it would take about 12mins to start up. I tried booting it in SAFE MODE, but it stlled at "classpnp.sys" I heard that it may be a hardware problem, so I removed one of the 8gb memory cards and VOILA, it worked! So I refit it again (thinking it wasn't put in right) and it stuffed up again. I removed it and swapped it with the other card (thinking it may be a faulty one), but it worked perfectly! I put in a 4gb card, but again, it played up. So would I be safe to say that my laptop can only have a maximum of 8gb RAM? any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
