Hi, to start up the Acer Aspire V5-471 you will need to first insert the battery that comes with the laptop into the laptop. The battery can be inserted on the bottom of the laptop and will snap into the battery slot. Afterwards the battery will then need to be charged with the laptop AC charger that comes with the Acer Aspire V5-471. After all this is done simply press the power button on the top left of the keyboard and it will start up! It will then take you through a basic setup proccess asking you to set up a username and password for your laptop. It may restart during this process and after the setup is complete you will be able to access your computer completly! Enjoy your Acer Aspire V5-471!
