Frozen Screen

i get an american megatrend screen up it won't  nothing if you hit del or f12

Trouble shooting your graphics card is fairly straight forward, if you have extra equipment handy. If not it's a little harder. If you have no video the issue could be
  1. Monitor is bad
  2. Cable between the monitor and video card is bad
  3. Video card is bad
  4. GPU slot on board is bad.

if you don't have an extra cable or monitor to check and don't have the means to borrow one, your next step is a pc tech.

If it is the motherboard you will hear post beeps when booting, however sometimes with after factory video cards they will not post beep will they go.
