Volume Button, Scroll, Problem
volume dial below touchpad does not function correctly, does not smooth scroll but jerks around, usually lowering volume only

I found this to be a truly terrible problem, i believe the cause is possibly dirt within the wheel but my solution is to disable it.
Basically to disable the wheel you need to disable Launger manager, it can be found in the startup by running msconfig, the process running in the task manager is also called LManager.exe .
By doing so you disable the wireless/blue tooth button and the others too, but if that volume wheel gave you half the amount of hassle it has given me you would realise it's worth it.
