My Acer Aspire 5513 Wont Boot Up?
i have an acer aspire 5740-5513 it was working fine then i went to start it and it said ( a disk read error occorred press ctrl+alt+del to restart ) everytime i try this the same page comes up? please help me get my computer back up and running as i use this for business

A duc read error could be that
The hard drive is failing, or, the ram might be faulty.
I would try to remove and copy your data to another laptop/pc using a caddy, before going further.
However, if you try pressing F8 at startup, and see if the option for startup repair shows- You should see options to sytem restore- you can try safe mode, or restore to an earlier working date- to keep your data - I gather you do not have a windows disc with this
otherwise hold down the alt button, and press f10 on startup to see if you have that option in the recovery process, but choose to save data.
Once you are sure you have saved your data, it is worth removing the cover at the baseto the ram, and try remove and reseat them.
If it is your hard drive, any attempt you make to repair can lose data-
