The first thing you need to do is press the print screen button on your keyboard. It is probably near the top-right corner of your keyboard and it should look some thing like this: Prt-Scrn

The next step is open Paint on your computer. Click edit, then click paste. Whatever the computer screen looked like when you press Print-Screen should now appear.

The last step is to save the image where ever you want it, by click save-as under the "File" tab on paint.

If you want to take a screen shot of the current window that you are using only hold down the alt button while you press print-screen. Then follow steps 2 and 3.
