When I Try To Convert 2 Avi Movies At The Same Time My Monitor Goes Crazy

is this my video card causing the problem? my monitor freezes up and a lot of colorful lines run across it.

I don't think it is your video card. Either your RAM is too small so you need to upgrade the RAM or you CPU is not strong anough to handle the workload in which case you need to upgrade the CPU.
