Turn off the cooker hood and unplug it from the power outlet.
Open the cooker hood.
Locate the grease filter. It is usually a metal mesh filter that is located at the bottom of the cooker hood.
Remove the grease filter. It is usually held in place by screws or clips.
Clean or replace the grease filter. If the filter is reusable, you can clean it by soaking it in hot soapy water and scrubbing it with a brush. If the filter is disposable, you will need to replace it.
Reinstall the grease filter. Make sure that it is securely fastened in place.
Close the cooker hood and plug it back into the power outlet.
Here are some additional tips:
If the grease filter is very dirty, you can soak it in a solution of baking soda and water overnight. This will help to loosen the grease and make it easier to clean.
Be careful not to damage the grease filter when you are cleaning it. A damaged filter will not be effective at trapping grease.
If you are replacing the grease filter, make sure that you get the correct size and type of filter for your cooker hood.
It is important to replace or clean the grease filter in your cooker hood regularly. This will help to improve the performance of your cooker hood and prevent grease from building up and causing a fire hazard.
