AC in Mountaineer 2005

I Was Told The System Of My Car Ac Should Be Replaced And That It Would Cost 12oo Dollars Parts Plus Service. However, I Checked With One Ac Specialist For A Second Opinion And It Turned Out To Be A Stunning Surprise. The Ac Resumed Functioning After 2 Hrs Of Continuous Dismantling And Replacing The Broken Magnet Inside The System. The Cost Was Simply 70 Dollars For Parts And Labor. My Second Episode Will Come Soon God Willing.

OUTSTANDING SUV

I purchased this 2004 Mercury Mountaineer in 2006 for $10,600 and @ 35,000 miles. It has been the single most enjoyable vehicle I have every owned. It is All Wheel Drive as a 4.0 L engine.It has made two trips to the beach and did beautifully! Has been to PA three times, to DE four, and SC three time from NC. It now has 148,000 miles and still runs like a top (knock on wood). The only thing I have had to replace (aside from tuneups and oil changes) is the front passenger wheelbearing, the battery twice, the thermostat, and the alternator. it has All leather Interior, still in good shape with light wear and tear. It does need two new sun visors as the hinges that held them to the roof were poorly designed. Gas mileage has never been great @ 18/19 mpg but the overall satisfaction trumps that by far. It can also pull a 4500 lbs boat with little strain. If I was asked if I would purchase another one, it would be without a doubt...YES.
