Power Steering Fluid 8100 Engines 5-38 In most everyday driving conditions, the fan is spinning slower and the clutch is merely the cooling system functioning properly. This improves fuel economy and reduces fan noise. This is normal and should not be mistaken as the fan... the clutch more air to provide more fully engages. It will slow down when additional cooling is engaged, the fan spins faster to cool the engine. The fan will go away as the transmission slipping or making extra shifts...
