Move the release lever to the front of the vehicle and find the secondary hood release lever. Pull the hood release lever inside the vehicle. Then go to the side and raise the hood. It is located between the battery and the underhood fuse block. Your vehicle has a remote negative (−) ground location, as the positive (+) terminal location on your vehicle's battery. See Engine Compartment Overview on page 5-12 for more information on the battery. 5-44 4. You should always use this remote ground location, instead of the terminal on the location of the other vehicle, as well as shown in the illustration. Open the hoods and locate the positive (+) and negative (−) terminal locations of the battery.
