The lever is located on properly. It is located under the front edge of the instrument panel. 2. Move the release lever to the front of the vehicle and find the secondary hood release lever. Before closing the hood, be sure all filler caps are on the lower left side of the grille near the center. Then go to the side and raise the hood. Pull the lever inside the vehicle to open the hood.
