Even the Recorded Messages are Brusque!
CitiBank has outdone itself on shoddy customer service; even the recorded messages are keyed to giving Citi customers a bums' rush and quick brush off!

I've been a customer for 8 years, asked for a refinance interest rate, 5.175% plus points.I'm paying 5.347% what kind of help is that?????. The CITIMORTGAGE mortgage consultat, seemed dis-interested when I told him I already had an appraisal. One day all of you mortgage companies will be asking us for business.Now if I stop paying you, maybe I'llbe a "better customer", worthy of your assistances. This is not the first time, I called CITIMORTGAGE over the years for assistance. Or change my payment date to CITIMORTGAGE when I recieve my income, your not even considerate to doing

This is the worst motgage company I have ever dealt with - I currently have 4 loans and they are the only ones I have a problem with. Customer service is non existent - the people that call have no clue about mortgages - they call all times of day and night (probably because they are in India). Outsorcing clearly does not work - they take the american taxpayes money and send it overseas to people who do not even know what a mortgage is. Once again not suprising after seeing the CEO.
Avoid this company at all costs.
