They Charged Me A $1.00 On My Checking Account For No Reason.

I just created an account with iTunes and they charged me a $1.00 on my account and I'm wondering why, since I haven't bought anything yet. Is there a charge just for having iTunes?

Its called a "Verification charge," making sure your info is legit. Its typically either 1 doller or 1 cent.
