4 Critical Updates For My Laptop? Pictures??

Last night I tried to shut down my computer, but it said that there were 4 critical updates that would be installed upon shutdown ... it just kept spinning and spinning .... today I cannot see any pictures? I thought maybe there was not enough room, so I dumped all temporary files, and anything it would let me. Still won't do the updates and I can't see any pictures. Real problem as I do A LOT of Ebay.

Microsoft updates are very important for your eMachines E725 computer. You should not disregard the update notifications of your computer. If you cannot see any screen, this might be caused by interrupted updates on your computer. You can try to access the computer through the Safe Mode. To access the safe mode, please follow the instructions provided in the video tutorials below.

If you are already in the safe mode window, backup all the files that you consider important before anything can get happen.
