Power Up

I cannot get the system to power up   All the fans are running fast and cannot shut system off with front switch, power supply appears to check out (voltages are good) ear that I may have bad mobo    any other thoughts

If the system will not even POST try pulling all RAM and rebooting.  Does it error out?  Try one stick of RAM at a time.

Try booting from another boot source such as a bootable CD or floppy.

Try booting to the Windows memory diagnostic or memtest86 bootable disks:

If still no boot, yes odds are the motherboard is shot.

Can you swap out the CPU in case that is the issue?
