Make sure you are not mixing upper and lower case or using the wrong case. It is case sensitive and this is the most common error - even if you KNOW you typed it all in lower case - sometimes it might surprise you to know that while typing in - you may have accidentally hit the capslock key instead of an "a" or whatever - so verify that first. You do have a limited number of tries before you get 'locked out' - so be careful.

Another way to get into your account is to go through the 'forgot' password link on the signin page and change it again - and be careful when you type in your password. The other thing you could do is have Ebay reset your password for you - in case you have a virus on your computer that is logging your keystrokes and getting your passwords from you typing them in - so someone else goes in and changes your password - so - that is another concern - make sure your computer is secure.

One way to check if your account has been 'accessed' by someone other than yourself: go to the search page, click advanced search and click on the 'find member' link - or find seller - and then type in your user id and see if anything unusual comes up on that search - as far as what is being sold under your account. Either you aren't a seller and you might find something being sold on your account, or you are a seller and someone has different stuff being sold on your account.

The problem could be within your email, or on your computer so they will make you jump through hoops to secure your account. My 1st suggestion is to change password again, monitor your account closely for the next couple days and see if any suspect activity happens.
