Nothing Grows In The English Countryside

I play FV on facebook. I cannot access the free gift section to send to friends. It tells me my session has expired and locks my computer. Also, Nothing Grown in/on the English countryside farm. The crops, trees, chickens, horses, duckpond and pub does not produce. I can breed sheep and pigs. Pls help
