I Deleted Zook From My Facebook... Why Do I Still Get Requests And Notifications

How do I stop receiving notifications and requests after I had deleted the Zook app? It's frustrating! Help me here plz. ..

Even if you have deleted the app, others can be able to send requests to you!!
It can be stopped if you go to app settings and block the app!!
