how do I reset the patterns after changing the battery on my Yamaha rx17 drum machine

Pressing and holding STOP/CONTINUE and +1/YES buttons while switching the machine on performs factory reset after displaying exact ROM version number for a moment. Factory reset cleans up the most critical RAM area and restores factory defaults for the following settings that could otherwise prohibit it from acting normally
