To perform a factory hard reset on your Yamaha RN-602 receiver, follow these steps:
  1. Turn off the receiver and unplug it from the power outlet.
  2. Press and hold the "Straight" button on the front panel of the receiver.
  3. While holding down the "Straight" button, plug the receiver back into the power outlet.
  4. Continue holding down the "Straight" button for at least 5 seconds until you see "INITIALIZED" appear on the front panel display.
  5. Release the "Straight" button and wait for the receiver to complete the initialization process.
  6. Once the initialization is complete, the receiver will turn off automatically.
  7. Turn the receiver back on and check that it has been restored to its factory settings.

Note : Performing a factory reset will erase all settings and customizations you have made on the receiver and restore it to its original factory settings. Make sure to back up any important settings or configurations before performing the reset.
