Yamaha Ef2400is Is Very Hard To Pull Cord When Trying To Start

I find it Hard to pull starting cord, if you pull slow it will recoil back and almost pull you arm off, it takes one to person to hold gen and the other to pull cord, wonce going it is sweet.
