Yahoo Search Virus (malware)

I am about to reinstall my operating system because it is near impossible to eliminate the Yahoo Search virus that forcibly redirects Google Chrome to the Yahoo Search page. I have tried a half dozen Malware programs, manually cleaning the registry, boot scan virus removal, removing add-ins in Chrome, and generally reading dozens of articles and asking questions on forums, but nothing works.Is there an expert for hire who knows what how to fix this?
