How Do I Get Rid Of Ads Showing Up On My Mail Page?

at the top of my yahoo mail there are ads appearing that I cannot delete or get rid of using available commands. I do not want these ads on my mail page and want to get rid of them. How do I do that?

Yahoo does not facilitate removing these ads on an ongoing basis except by upgrading to (paying for) Yahoo Plus. (You can otherwise hide an ad on one page only.) See http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=content&id=SLN3591&locale=en_US&y=PROD_MAIL_ML. You can however do the job with a good ad blocker, like the free Adblock Plus utility, available for most browsers (but not Internet Explorer) together with its Element Hiding Helper.
