When i want to log in my yahoo account varification asks what is your youngest child's nickname but i have forgotten the answer so i want help

You may be able to recover your Yahoo account using other information, as outlined at:

Greetings - I understand you were trying and couldn't succesfully use the Yahoo's self help 'password recovery wizard. Well, you can try and forward the matter to Yahoo's Tech Support in the following way

1. Go to http://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index
2. Select 'Yahoo Account'

3. Select Password & Signin
4. Select 'Forgot my Password'
5. Select 'Email a support Agent'
6. Fill out the form that appear, describing you problem as best as you can
7. Submit the form when done and wait for the Yahoo team

I have found out that the security question and answer is actually not needed as long as you have a non Yahoo email account registered with Yahoo. If you don't have one then get one before you get locked out.

Yahoo will not even let you change the question and answer unless you know what the original one was.
