How Do I Get My Email History Since Yahoo-verizon Forced My In Acct. To Switch?

Yahoo-Verizon has discontinued service in Indiana. Since this switch-over my history is lost entirely. Verizon says that Yahoo must see that this error is corrected, yet there is no live support or real person to talk with about this specific problem that is not addressed in their FAQ or help areas. What should I do? I also might add that I am a MAC user.
