Sorry for your problems. You can retrieve deleted messages from your Trash folder, as long as the trash hasn't been deleted yet. Follow the instructions at http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=content&y=PROD_MAIL_ML&locale=en_US&id=SLN4849.

Otherwise, Yahoo has a form you can submit to restore such lost messages. However, it will not restore messages outside a 7-day window. Submit the form at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/restore.html?status=verifyfail.
