My yahoo security question was posted four years ago in 2009 (for my other yahoo account) and I can't remember the answer to it. Is there some other way to access my account? how can I sign in when I can't remember the security question?

If you can't answer the security question, you may be able to use other means to verify your identity, as outlined at http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=content&id=SLN8923&actp=search&viewlocale=en_US&searchid=1378129736546&locale=en_US&y=PROD_ACCT

Hello ghatalz,

Yahoo provides 3 options for resetting a forgotten password:

Security Question - We already established you do not remember the answer
Alternate Email Address - Yahoo sends a link here to enable a password reset when you use it.
Mobile Phone - Same as the alternate email option, except the link, or a verification code, is sent to your mobile phone instead.

Please note: These options can only apply if they were previously added to your account already.
