When following these steps, you may be asked to sign in to confirm your identity at different times.

Go to your Yahoo Account Settings.
Click Account security.
If you're adding your first recovery mobile number, click Add recovery phone number. If you already have a mobile number listed and you're adding an extra one, click Phone numbers.
If you're adding your first recovery mobile number, enter the mobile number you'd like to use. If you already have a recovery mobile number listed and you're adding an extra one, click Add recovery phone number and enter the mobile number you'd like to add.
Click Send SMS (this will send a text message) or Call me.
Enter the Account Key you received.
Click Verify.
