Someone In London Scammed My Account

If the person in London who stole my account and sent an email to all the people I know that I was robbed at gun point and am stranded in London and in need of funds to get home. How do I stop this person from using other information they may have acquired from my account? My son was a policeman for 18 years and he says I can't turn it in here because the person is in London not here.
