2007 Quest Xm Radio

I just bought a 2007 Quest it has Xm in it but I can only get channel 001 and 249 I think it is (traffic). In the manual it says that if there is no services it will say "NO SAT" . How do I tune to other channels or do I still need to get a subscrition?
