Realistically, virus removal is a job for a local PC repair shop.  It will cost you far less in the long run to have a local tech take care of it for you.

Do you have up to date anti virus software?  If not you can download free software here: http://www.avast.com/index.

The program is free for home use but you need to register it (for free) each year.   I recommend this over the commercial paid for programs.

If you would like to fix this your self you can do a number of things.

First install up to date AV software
Run a live scanner like McAfee's Stinger tool http://www.mcafee.com/us/downloads/free-tools/stinger.aspx
Download and burn an offline scanner CD. http://www.techmixer.com/free-bootable-antivirus-rescue-cds-download-list/

My personal opinion is that the ONLY way to clean viruses from Windows PC's is to do so with the system running another operating system.  Otherwise many modern viruses are complex enough to hide themselves from anti virus software.

Almost every vendor makes a Linux based rescue CD.  You can reboot the PC using this CD and scan and clean the entire hard disk.  By doing it this way and viruses that are installed into Windows are dormant and not running.  There is no way for them to hide.    I highly recommend using these offline CDs.
