I have a message on my phone saying problem with the certificate for m.hotmail.com. contact a support person or service provider but have got no answer as to how I get rid of it or what to do

Hi. Make sure that your phone's date and time are correct as certificate carries expiry dates and times and a wrong date setting may pose certificate issues.
Your only option may be to reset the device which will allow you to re-established all accounts from scratch.
