Washer Will Only Blink When I Turn It On

Hi, my washing machine only blinks after I select the cycle that I want; and after I wait around it turns on. But now, it does not want to turn on at all I don't know what is wrong with it. Also, My washer lid turns on and turns itself off. After, about a minute, it turns back on and runs water.
