Makes A Loud Noise When In Spin Cycle Like A Jet Engine,

my washer is making a loud noise only in spin cycle like a jet engine ,i have checked the gear box transmission and it feels smooth when i turn it ,motor is smooth when turned as well.it runs as it should in all other cycles ,nice and smooth and quiet.Does anyone have any idea of what could be causing this issue,i have looked around and a lot of comments on possibly cam and pulley kit is the answer but i would want to have more info if its out there. I do not think it could be the transmission as it has no noise when in any cycle but spin and it should have noise always if it was no good.
