Whirlpool Wmh1163xvq-1 Microwave Keep Running

I have a Whirlpool microwave (WMH1163XVQ-1).  Now sometimes when I close the door, the light inside is still on and amazingly that the round table is still slowly turning.  I have to open and close the door very hard a couple of times to set it off.  Doesn't it suppose automatically shut off once the door has been openned and closed once?
