I'm getting conflicting advise on this error. Is it just a drain filter error or is it a communications error? Thanks!

F06 means a steamer failure, explained in detail at https://www.searspartsdirect.com/washer-repair/error-codes/whirlpool-duet-steam-front-load-washer-error-codes.html. Both errors together are discussed at http://www.fixya.com/support/t14702759-whirlpool_duet_washer_error_f06_e02.
I'm afraid that we at Help Owl can only provide what we each consider the best advice--and if it conflicts with other advice you'll have to consider the sources and make your own determination of which to accept.
