Water Left In Front Rubber Gasket

After a load in done there is quite a bit of water left in the front rubber gasket. I always check it and lately have to take a rag and saturate it with the water left in the gasket. We have used Affresh every 30 days. It has only been 3 weeks now since the last one. It seems better after using the Affresh but I don't want to use it every 2 weeks. Any ideas how to take care of this? Thank you.
