Knobs Turn On Way Too Easily

After having a whirlpool rnge with accubake I decided to buy another when remodelling. I and my family have noticed that only a light bump will turn the knobs enough to have the gas escape or turn the stove  on, is this normal it has already caused fquite a few mishaps!!!!!!!!! We have only had this range 1 month!
