Have Oven Correctly Set For Propane Conversion?

I set my oven as per the manual for LP gas conversion but it still had a large yellow flame. At time while in warrenty Whirlppol told me to contact my propane provider,b ut I do ont have one, I simply take my 25 lb tank to the filling station as needed... so that was no help nor could I get a propane provider to send someone out to look at my stove without signing up for their service, which I cannot afford. So, the ignitor went out the other day. Today I replaced it and double checked everything and I even took the screw out so the air adjustoer could open fully but I still have a large yellow and orange flame. ANy suggestions as to what I myself can do to fix the issue? please.
