My Whirlpool Cabrio Wed7300xw Is Making A Clicking Noise.

Why would my Whirlpool Cabrio dryer MODEL#WED7300XW be making a clicking noise??      In the dark i looked to the back to make sure there are not any sparks, and to inspect visually in the dark to see if there were any evidence of fire or sparks, all i seen was the heating element coming on when the clicking starts and when the heating element goes off the clicking stops  through the ventilation grates in the back panel I can see the glow of the heating element in the dark coming on and going off in the dark as i watch and listen for the clicking noise to start and stop. Is this Clicking normal for this Model/ and, what do you think it is??

The problem is in the circuit board. It needs to be replaced. Mine is doing the same thing and when the electrician took the top off (the area with the knobs and buttons), I could actually see the area where the clicking was coming from.

From what I have gathered, the replacement cost for this is close to $300.
