Hi,

It sounds like your Whirlpool dishwasher is experiencing an error during the wash cycle. The flashing lights and the water left in the tube are indicators of a problem. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Check the dishwasher's filter: A clogged or dirty filter can cause problems during the wash cycle. Make sure the filter is clean and free of debris.

2. Check the dishwasher's spray arms: If the spray arms are not rotating properly, it can cause the wash cycle to fail. Make sure the spray arms are free of debris and can rotate freely.

3. Check the dishwasher's water supply: Make sure the dishwasher is getting enough water during the wash cycle. Check the water supply valve and make sure it is fully open.

4. Check the dishwasher's drain hose: Make sure the dishwasher's drain hose is not kinked or clogged. A clogged drain hose can cause water to back up into the dishwasher.

Hope this helps!!
