Hot Water Cycle Is Not Using Hot Water ?

i recently replaced mymagtag dishwasher with this whirlpool model WDF310PAAB. I use the hot wash cycle but it is washing the dishes in warm water. when using the old maytag on this cysle the dishes were extremely hot to touch and the outside of the machine was warm. With this dishwasher, the outside is cool and the dishes are warm.
