Ice Water Dispenser Do Not Work And No Internal Light On A Whirlpool Gi7fvcxxy

I have a whirlpool gi7fvcxxy and the door "open" icon is illuminate on the touch screen. Also when the doors are open the light is not on. Is this the door switch causing the illuminated icon, no water and ice as well as no light in the fridge?

The door switch turns off the ice and water dispenser when the refrigerator door is open. If the door switch fails, the dispenser will not turn on. To determine if the door switch is defective, use a multimeter to test it for continuity. If the door switch does not have continuity when activated, replace it.
