Refrigerator Not Cooling

i have a whirlpool gd5dhaxvq refrigerator that is not cooling properly.  it is making a clicking sound, the motor seems to come on then cuts off.  i have unplugged it for 10 minutes with no improvement with its cooling.  the temperature controls are set OK.  no vents are being obstructed.
