Had A Power Surge Now The Fridge Isn't Working. How To Fix???

we had a poweer surge and now the fridge isn't working. I think the freezer is the ice is still frozen after 24 hours. There is no ice cream to check. Just need to know where to start with this. Would like to do on my own if possible. It is only a year old.
